A Poem for the State of the Union

By President Donald J. Trump

The State of the Union

By President Donald J. Trump

Because I could not resume for Congress,
it did kindly resume for me.
I don’t like the fact that it,
learned to resume before it knew how to pass.
It does resume,
it does pass,
it does enact.

I saw the constitutional governing of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned the lawmaking.
A lawmaking is organic. a lawmaking is inherent,
a lawmaking is intrinsic, however.

A parliament, however hard it tries,
Will always be corrupt.
Never forget the corruptible and sneaky parliament.

When I think of the plenary, I see the swamp.
Does the plenary make you shiver?
does it?

We yearn for a simpler time.
One where words were true and
Meant what they meant;
just like green eggs and ham.

What do you think?
