Remember When Michael Avenatti Predicted A Trump Jr. Indictment?

Think back to October, 2018 for a moment if you will. The nation was currently embroiled in a bitter fight between Republicans and Democrats for dominance of the House and the Senate. Americans were treated to wave after wave of women falsely accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault and worse.

It was in this tempestuous environment that Michael Avenatti made a rather bold prediction regarding President Trump’s son, Donald Trump, Jr.

Michael Avenatti wasn’t alone in this prediction. Many Mainstream Media talking heads were of the opinion that a Trump, Jr. indictment was all but inevitable. Indeed, rumors had been circulating that Trump, Jr. himself expected to be indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller before the year was out.

Flash forward to today. The Mueller report is a colossal dud that all but cleared President Trump of colluding with the Russians to steal the 2016 election from the rightful heir of Obama’s Legacy, President Hillary Clinton. Additionally, no further indictments were recommended by the Mueller team, and no super secret sealed indictments had been obtained.

To add insult to injury, Michael Avenatti himself actually turned out to be the one to be indicted. Avenatti was arrested on Monday in New York on charges that he attempted to extort millions of dollars from sports apparel giant Nike. Avenatti is also facing bank and wire fraud charges in California.

All in all, Michael Avenatti faces up to 97 years in federal prison between the charges in both states.

Naturally, Trump, Jr. allowed himself to take a bit of a victory lap.

Michael Avenatti is the man who used a porn star to torment President Trump and his family while lining his own pockets. Avenatti appeared over one hundred times on television to disparage the Trump family, and Trump, Jr. in particular.
